The UCSF doctors Matt saw in August, radiology oncologist Dr Penny Sneed, and neurologist Dr Michael McDermott, referred Matt to neuro-ophthalmologist Dr Jonathan Horton, at the UCSF Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic, because Matt's "wandering eye" problem was not associated with his meningioma, which Drs Sneed and McDermott were treating.
Dr Horton is researching Matt's type of vision problems and asked Matt to participate in his research. Dr Horton took Matt to the Research Laboratory for additional testing. Since Dr Horton knew that we had traveled several hours to get there, he asked his associates at the Koret Vision Research Laboratory to do the testing immediately.
